Miro has recently unveiled a suite of innovative features designed to enhance collaboration and streamline workflows. These updates, announced during the 'Powering Innovation in Miro' webinar on 2nd April 2025, introduce powerful integrations and tools that promise to transform the way teams work together.
Amazon Bedrock Integration
Miro now integrates with Amazon Bedrock, allowing users to generate custom images directly within their boards using simple text prompts. This AI-powered feature eliminates the need for manual image searches, enabling faster creation of mood boards and storyboards. By breaking down prompts into multiple sticky notes, teams can iterate quickly and refine images with ease. This integration is particularly beneficial for industries such as game development, cloud architecture, and industrial design.
Adobe Express Integration (Beta)
The new Adobe Express integration brings powerful design tools directly into Miro boards. Users can access Adobe Express’s features to convert images into editable projects, utilise templates, and maintain brand consistency—all within Miro. This seamless integration facilitates collaborative design processes, allowing teams to contribute ideas and iterate quickly without switching between platforms.
Enhanced Template Library and Intelligent Miro Templates
Miro has revamped its template library with a new design language and introduced widgets like Dot Voting and the People Widget to enhance collaboration. Additionally, a new batch of Intelligent Templates, including a full SAFe methodology pack and daily sync templates, are now available. These templates incorporate Miro AI, Sidekicks, interactive tools, and integrated video calls to streamline workflows and boost engagement.
Spaces, Docs, and Stickies Updates
Managing teams within Miro is now more intuitive with the updated team picker in Spaces, featuring a dropdown selection and customisable order. Collaboration in Docs is enhanced with the ability to mention other users, facilitating easier communication. Sticky stacks have also been improved, allowing for adjustable sizes to better suit various brainstorming sessions.
Performance Enhancements
Significant performance improvements have been made, including an upgrade to the text editing library for better support of Korean and Japanese text entry. Navigating large boards is now up to twice as fast, thanks to optimised processing of board updates. These enhancements ensure a smoother and more responsive user experience.
These updates underscore Miro’s commitment to providing a robust and user-friendly platform that adapts to the evolving needs of collaborative teams.
